Regional Game Changers

Work with us to change the game.

Our Regional Game Changers Program is all about transformative change - working with regional local government and not-for-profits to identify, design, fund and launch tailor-made projects that transform.

The game changer impact

Whaddup Indigenous Youth Program

Co-designed in partnership with the local Indigenous community, the Whaddup Indigenous Youth Program is an innovative learning program having a big impact on young Indigenous people aged 8-17 years in Toowoomba, Queensland.

A world first using the leading-edge KaosPilots transformation learning design and curriculum, the program focuses on the concepts of connecting, creating and constructing to empower young Indigenous people in the Toowoomba community to grow powerful voices and lead the way to a brighter future and is set to scale into three more communities in South West QLD.

Tenterfield True Local

The Tenterfield True Local community pride program for the town of Tenterfield in Northern NSW has been enthusiastically embraced by the local community - and picked up a 2017 Regional Development Australia Northern Inland (RDANI) Innovation Award along the way.

Working with the Tilma Group and the Tenterfield community to develop the Destination Marketing Brand and Strategy, we conducted in-depth community-wide consultation to harvest ideas to increase visitation to grow Tenterfield and grow its visitor economy so the whole community benefits.

We helped the community develop two complementary projects as the foundation for future tourism and community activation projects, including marketing, town beautification and other collaborations:

  1. A Tenterfield brand that captures the essence of the community and surrounds

  2. A program to create a worldwide fanbase for Tenterfield.

Conscious Enterprise worked with the community to develop Tenterfield True Local, an innovative, Australian-first, community-fuelled brand activation program dedicated to helping visitors experience a human connection with the locals of Tenterfield Shire. An opportunity for visitors to live like locals and be completely immersed in this community.

Committee for Echuca-Moama

We led the development and establishment of the Committee for Echuca-Moama (C4EM), a significant game changer for the twin townships located on the banks of the Murray River on the Victorian and New South Wales’ border.

A complex and wholistic initiative, spanning both sides of the border and navigating state and local government interests, C4EM grew from an initial exploratory workshop we facilitated with 12 participants into an independent regional development organisation. C4EM has come to represent the Echuca-Moama region, as a positive force to advocate for key improvements to regional infrastructure, health, education, business and local industry and workforce development.

Anna’s passion and drive cuts through in all that she does. Her ability to ‘think outside the square’ is invaluable when approaching traditional strategic and management projects. Her ability to network and get great minds around the table for projects is a real asset. It was a real pleasure to work with her on the Launceston City Council Economic Development Strategy
